Frenectomy Services in Rocklin, CA

Gentle Treatment for Tongue-Tie & Lip-Tie

At Sun-Park Dental, we provide comprehensive evaluations and treatment for tethered oral tissues, commonly known as tongue ties and lip ties. We use laser to relieve tongue tie or lip tie so: no bleeding, fast healing, minimum discomfort, and zero down time. When these tissues are shorter, thicker, or tighter than normal, they can restrict movement and lead to feeding difficulties, speech concerns, dental issues, and more.

Our team is committed to helping your child thrive by diagnosing tethered tissue early and providing safe, fast, and effective frenectomy treatment.

A tongue tie is an embryological remnant of tissue located between the underside of the tongue and the floor of the mouth that limits tongue movement. Lip ties occur when the tissue attaching the upper lip to the gums is unusually tight or restrictive.

Because the tongue plays a crucial role in feeding, speaking, breathing, posture, airway development, and dental arch formation, restricted movement can have long-term effects. Studies estimate tongue ties affect 4–10% of the population—possibly up to 20% when posterior ties are included.

Why Frenectomy Treatment Matters
